Amazon - JoorHere are some of the ways that Amazon’s platform has grown. Amazon revolutionized retail by selling massively online to Consumers. Then did it again by opening the platform for third parties, essentially delivering a service to both business and consumers. Amazon is now used by meta-sellers, who order directly from other sites and sell to Consumers. Major e-commerce sellers use Amazon as a platform to sell their own products in addition to selling them through their own websites. The sales are processed through Amazon.com and end up at individual sellers for processing and order fulfillment and Amazon leases space for these retailers.

Amazon competes has destroyed Barnes & Noble and Borders. It’s giving Target a run for its money. And next on the sites is Cosco. Amazon can start owning the wholesale market.

Curiously, a good place to start is with fashion, because there is no efficient wholesale market at the moment. So, basically, Amazon can create it on its platform.

By acquiring Joor it buys a cadre of over 15,000 fashion retailers , and bringing them within the Amazon ecosystem will attract, well, all the remaining fashion retailers!
