Panhellenic Association The Panhellenic Association is the unifying, governing and coordinating organization of the women's fraternities within DePauw's
community associated with the National Panhellenic Conference.
The Panhellenic Association provides a communication link between sororities, campus organizations and community leaders. Our programming seeks to
encourage personal and chapter enrichment in many different areas such as philanthropy, scholarship, women's issues, and overall Greek unity. In
addition to all of these opportunities, Panhellenic Association organizes the Panhellenic Formal Recruitment process, which is the membership selection
process for Panhellenic organizations.
If you are interested in joining a Panhellenic organization, we encourage you to attend events such as: Rho Gamma meetings, Panhellenic Open House and
Recruitment 101. Additional questions about the Panhellenic recruitment process can be directed to the Campus Living and Community Development
office by e-mailing [email protected] or by e-mailing [email protected].
Recruitment Information
Formal Recruitment for the Panhellenic Council will take place on
January 26th, 27th, & 28th 2018. The full formal recruitment schedule for
Spring 2018 will be posted in early October 2017. If you have any
questions about recruitment, please feel free to e-mail
How do I join? The Panhellenic Council, women’s fraternities, hosts a formal
recruitment process taking place prior to the start of the Spring Term
(January). Both Panhellenic and IFC organizations coordinate their
individual processes, where each fraternity/sorority hosts events that
allow potential members the opportunity to get to know the active
members and determine which organization is the best fit for them. If
you would like more information about the Panhellenic Council
Recruitment process, refer to the Panhellenic Council webpage or
e-mail [email protected].
Can I attend events? Access by non-members to the privately-owned chapter houses is
determined by each chapter. In the case of First-Year students, access
policies have been set by the Panhellenic Council for its six chapters.
For specific information regarding the First-Year Greek Property for
this academic year, visit each council webpage. Students can attend
events that are open at Panhellenic chapters these include
philanthropic events and council sponsored events.
