The Evergreen Approach to Education
Design Thinking
We value design thinking because it is a powerful tool that helps students become confident, creative and empathetic problem solvers.
Project Based Learning
Project based learning challenges our students to investigate and resolve a complex, real-world problem through a meaningful extended project.
Global Studies – 8th Grade Right of Passage
Evergreen’s Global Studies program is the culmination of our students’ time with The Evergreen School.
Students participate in a year-long program where they study the culture, history, ecology and geography of a country and, finally, travel there for a month.
It is the ultimate service learning project and it teaches our students to be responsible, involved global citizens.
Growth Through Transition
The Evergreen School celebrated our 50th Anniversary last school year. In the last 50 years we have grown exponentially and we look forward to the growth the next 50 years will bring. No one can predict the future, but one thing is
certain - to be effective educators we must continue to grow and innovate to meet the needs of our students now and into the future.
