Know Your Gizmo
The issue
Older people often express their concerns about their understanding and use of new
technologies.
The issue
Albury High School had expressed an interest in becoming involved in a suitable project whereby students could engage in the
community.
Funding
Funding for the project was provided through the Australian Communications Consumer Action Network (ACCAN) Grants Scheme.
The operation of the Australian Communications Consumer Action Network is made possible by funding provided by the Commonwealth of Australia under section 593 of the Telecommunications Act 1997. This funding is recovered from
charges on telecommunications carriers.
Objectives• Train Year 10 AHS student volunteers in skills

their gizmos more effectively.

GIZMOS than before. A big thank you.
