½DaytrainingSessions–WednesdayAfternoonSAMS TheSocialAssistanceManagementSystem(SAMS)isthecaseandfinancialmanagementsystemusedbyMCSStodeliverODSPandACSD,andbymunicipalitiesandM’ChigeengFristNationtodeliverOntarioWorks.SAMSallowsforuserstomanagecaseinformationmoreefficientlysotheycanprovideclientswiththebestpossiblesupport.TheworkshopwillhighlighttheintakeprocessandhowinformationisrecordedintoSAMS.WewillalsoexaminethefunctionsofSAMSthatsupportcaseworkersintheirday-to-dayactivitiesaswellasthekeyfunctionsthatdifferentiateSAMSfromothercasemanagementtechnologies.
