Formal Peer Review of Draft Final Report for the Tire-Derived Resilient Flooring Study
Project Background
June 2001, Building Materials Emission Study (BMES) conducted
Follow up study to examine the tire-derived products & their potential off-gassing or indoor exposure risk.
Study was done through an agreement with Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) & Dept. of Health Services (DHS), through the Public Health Institute.
Work was completed in May 2006.
Two-Tiered Approach To Peer Review
First Tier Review would be conducted using the expertise of indoor air quality consultants and chemists familiar with chamber testing and lab analysis.
Second Tier would utilize the expertise of university professors that could offer insight on the toxicology and public health conclusions in this report.
