Where will I live? First-year men live in New Men’s; first-year women live in Cullen Daniel or Margaret Daniel. Transfer students can opt to live in Hanson, Bruno, or the Hilltop Village Apartments.

Who will I live with? You can let us match you up, or you can choose your own roommate—either someone you know or someone you find on your own. Just let us know by June 1 on the online housing form.

When will I know for sure? You’ll get your room number and roommate assignment by email in July.

What about meal plans? Our default meal plan for residential students gives you unlimited meals Monday through Friday plus Panther Bucks to spend in our convenience stores and Subway. You can increase to a seven-day plan in the first two weeks of school if you prefer.

BSC students love living in Birmingham—and BSC alumni are

helping make the city a better place. Take Glenny Brock ’99,

(pictured below) who is leading the campaign to restore the

historic Lyric Theatre in the city’s downtown.

She’s not the only one: from digital CEOs to the director

of the award-winning Railroad Park, from groundbreaking

restaurateurs and artists to the medical professionals

who keep residents healthy, BSC graduates go on

to do great things in Birmingham and beyond.

4feel the

magic

You’ll love Birmingham as much as we do. Living here

means all the fun of a big city plus great opportunities

for internships, mentorships, job shadowing, and cultural

activities. One day, you’ll be ziplining at Red Mountain

Park or meeting friends for a concert; the next, you can be

getting critical experience for your future career or learning

from the BSC alumni who make the city tick.

The Magic City, that is!
