First I upload the image of my model/artist to
Photoshop.
Then I duplicate the image of my
model/artist.
I go to google and type in ‘gold glitter’ and copy the image that I
think will look the best onto
the Photoshop document I have open.
I then alter the size of the gold glitter and duplicate the
layer 4 times, placing each one over a nail that is
visible. I then merge these layers
together.
I then place the layer containing the gold
glitter in between the pictures of the model/artist.
I use the eraser tool to erase the nail on the top layer image, as you can see the
gold glitter layer then appears, as if it is the nail. However it does
look un natural.
By lowering the opacity of the layer with the gold
glitter on this makes the new nail pattern look
more realistic.
This is the process I will do when adding nail varnish to my model/artist on my
ancillary text.
