GENERAL AD POLICIES and GUIDELINES
• General Specifications apply to ALL ads, unless otherwise specified.
Ads that do not conform to our specifications will be returned for revision (which may cause a delayed launch)
Move Inc. reserves the right to DE-ACTIVATE any ad that:
o Is in violation of our ad specs
o Interferes with the user experience
o Is not rendering (or is rendering slowly)
o Causes user complaints
All functionality visually indicated within ads must be working and NOT designed to deceive
'CLOSE' or 'SKIP' buttons must function as labeled and cannot link users to a new website
Non-functioning drop-down menus, radio buttons, and/or text fields are NOT permitted
Audio must be user-initiated by click and a prominent 'MUTE' button must always be present
All ads must be clearly branded with advertiser's logo and/or company name
All ads must be clearly distinguishable from normal webpage content (i.e. ads with white backgrounds must have a
minimum 1px colored border)

GUIDELINES FOR REAL ESTATE PROFESSIONALS
• Ads must conform to franchise- or broker-provided guidelines.
• Ads are NOT permitted to contain “Download my App” (or similar) calls to action.
• Ads are NOT permitted to contain any statement, claim, or inference that a particular property is a “For Sale by Owner”
(“FSBO”) property.
• Ads are NOT permitted to link to:
o Any website, other than the advertiser’s own broker or agent website, that displays property listing data or
content. (E.g., Ads are NOT permitted to link to third-party property listing portal sites, such as zillow.com,
trulia.com, and listingbook.com, or to web sites owned or operated by multiple listing services.)
o Individual listing pages of the advertiser’s own broker or agent website.
• Ads are NOT permitted to contain a specific street address or price:
o Price ranges (e.g., “$350,000 to $500,000”) and “starting from” prices (e.g., “starting from $350,000”) are
permitted.
• Customers are responsible for complying with the state and local laws and requirements pertaining to their advertising.
• Ads must be in compliance with the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Equal Housing
Opportunity guidelines.
• Ads may not contain messaging that is derogatory or offensive to realtor.com, Move, Inc. or its affiliates, the National
Association of REALTORS or its members, agents, brokers, any individual MLS, or MLSs as a group, or the real estate
industry in general.
• Ads may contain language that compares the customer to his, her, or its competitors in general but may not contain
language that compares the customer to specifically named competitors. An ad that contains language that compares the
customer to his, her, or its competitors in general must clearly display adequate support for the comparative statement on
the landing page of the ad.
• Ads may not reference or mention services or products that charge referral fees to real estate professionals.
