IMPI Training (Pty) Ltd t/a Academy Training Group was established in 1997 and serves as a private training institution.
We have over 21 years of reputable experience in the Education and Training industry! Academy Training Group is registered with
Department of Higher Education (DHET) with registration nr 2010/FE07/045
Our objective is to provide practical training and knowledge for a professional level of competency. Full-time lecturers at
Academy Training Group are well qualified and hold relevant qualifications. Part-time lecturers assist Academy Training
Group as required. ATG’s bespoken training courses are designed to deliver maximum benefits in the key areas of today’s
business world. We are motivated by the continuity of our relationships with our school leaver students and
corporate clients. We are also well known for providing on-site development programmes and coaching for line managers.

Training Method
The training provided by ATG contains a
combination of facilitation provided by
qualified facilitators and individual work
by the trainee in his/her own time.
The facilitators’ role is generally to provide
the necessary assistance and support by
answering questions, monitoring the
trainees’ performance and introducing new
concepts and information as necessary.

Learnerships
What is a Learnership?
Learnerships are structured programmes combining theory with practical skills within a working environment. Learners that are accepted on a Learnership, study towards a qualification which is registered on the National Qualifications Framework. A Learnership Agreement is drawn up and concluded between the employer, the learner and the accredited training provider for the duration of the Learnership programme.
Benefits of Learnerships
Learnerships increase relevant skill base and talent pool within your organisation; Skilled people make for better employees, which increases productivity in your organisation’s workforce; Learners are motivated as they are gaining working experience and at the same time are working towards achieving a recognised Qualification; Learners, if employed after successful completion of the
Learnership, are less likely to leave the orgainsation as they know there will be investment in their development; SETA grant allocation towards Skills Development programmes; B-BBEE points contribution as per Skills Development programmes; SARS offers organisations tax incentives for Learnerships that are registered with the organisation’s primary SETA; Learnerships also assist in achieving the Youth Employment Service (YES) programme initiative which was launched in 2018.
