ABA Fundamentals (Coursework Only) This 30 hour course is an introductory course that will prepare candidates with a strong basic foundation in
the basic concepts and principles of applied behavior analysis within the context of Autism treatment. This
course is intended for workforce development to address an immediate broad service need. This course
provides the foundation for the next steps in advanced education and training in ABA and Autism.

Participants will learn about and understand Autism Spectrum Disorders and applied behavior
analysis and will earn a certificate of completion for the QASP coursework from the College of

On-line/self-paced, competency tested course consisting of lessons
Audience: professionals and paraprofessionals who currently provide or want to provide behavioral
health treatment and professional services. The program covers applied behavior analysis and other
evidenced-based behavior intervention programs, which develop or restore, to the maximum extent
practicable, the functioning of an individual with pervasive developmental disorder or autism
Participants will learn to develop and implement treatment plans that utilize evidenced-based
practices that have demonstrated clinical efficacy in treating pervasive developmental disorder or
autism.
