Final Ideas

Direct Advertisements For our Direct advertisement our plan is to use social networking sites such as Twitter and Facebook, to connect people with the game and stay informed about the developments happening. Instead of creating a RedRUN Facebook and twitter face, we have decided to create one for our production company instead (RedPenEntertainment) this was if we create another game, people will still see be following the sites and see the promotional. On these sites we will be updating our fans on the release dates for the game, as well as giving them sneak peaks of the content. This will help keep the fans interesting and excited for the games release.

PromotionFor the promotion we have created a competition via our twitter and Facebook. The competition would entail a person to make as many of their friends to play RedRUN as possible. To show this they would need to upload to YouTube with RedRUN in the title and then post these on the Facebook for us to view and judge. The top 3 will receive a RedRUN T-shirt. This idea is good for many reasons, firstly it makes more people know about the game and spreads through word of mouth with is another popular method of marketing shown from our primary research. Secondary with lots of RedRUN videos being uploaded to YouTube it created recognition and we will gain more players from curiosity.

Indirect AdvertisingLastly, my indirect advertising will be to place a animated header on the top of indie blogging sites. This will be a quick and easy way to link people straight to the game but also it links to the social networking sites as well.
