DALY NOTES
Last Saturday, we celebrated a very significant moment in the life of our parish.
Archbishop Cronin confirmed 74 members of our parish. I would like to offer
congratulations to all the newly confirmed and their families. The ceremony was indeed a
special and spiritual experience. The church was packed. Everyone looked great with
smiles everywhere; we wish you all the best as you continue to grow in the faith. We
were extremely proud of all; Confirmandi, sponsors and parents.
A sincere thank you to Sue Skipp and Terri Hermann, the catechists and parents
for their hard work, dedication, patience and commitment to the program. Please keep
the newly confirmed in your prayers.

The Knights Sandwich Ministry
Thank you everyone for your overwhelming
generosity! We donated over 500 sandwiches
with last week’s collection to the Immaculate
Conception Shelter in Hartford – a new record for
our Parish. (A special thank you to Sean and his
Dad for preparing 50 sandwiches and to Lynne
who donated a frozen turkey!).
As always, the Shelter was very grateful. When
we arrived the cupboard was empty, so the
sandwiches came just in time!
Our next collections are: Sunday, May 19th
and June 16th @ 4:30 pm in the Saint Mary
School parking lot.
There is no collection in April.
