As a Member, you have the unique advantage of using the power of our global brand in your marketing efforts.
By following this guide, you will learn how to properly talk about Herbalife and the brand, and develop messaging that clearly,

Guidelines for Proper Use of Logos
Logo Usage
The correct use of logos strengthens the Herbalife brand and helps prevent violation of other companies' trademark rights.
Trademark markings used in this guide are illustrative. Check which markings are correct for your market before referring to or using any brands or graphics in
marketing and promotional materials.
1. Corporate Logo This logo is not to be used by Independent Herbalife Members.
Do not use the corporate logo without the “Independent Herbalife Member” lockup, except on apparel. This is the only exception.

Herbalife encourages Members to use and display the Herbalife
trademarks, logos and symbols in your business, provided their use
is in compliance with the rules. Use of Herbalife trademarks, including
logos, is attributable to Herbalife, and the quality of the materials
and the accuracy of the reproduction of the trademarks can affect
their value. Displaying Herbalife marks and designs on poor-quality
materials, or in a sloppy way, can damage the value and affect the
reputation of Herbalife and your Herbalife business, and the operations
of other Members. For this reason, any time that you display Herbalife
marks, logos or other properties, including on the items listed above,
as well as in advertising or marketing materials, you must:
Use high-quality materials (including image files) that are acceptable to industry standards for the kind of item you are branding.
Follow these brand guidelines strictly.

Members may use company or their own materials to advertise and promote Herbalife® products and the business
opportunity. However, these advertisements must comply with all Herbalife rules, which may vary slightly around the
world based on local laws and regulations.
In addition to complying with Herbalife policies, Members must comply with local ordinances, laws or other regulations
that apply when advertising or promoting Herbalife® products or the business opportunity.
Every Independent Herbalife Member must:
Be lawful, truthful and not misleading when sharing a personal success story about our products and business opportunity.
Refer to the product statements made on product labels and in current corporate marketing materials for approved claims.

Internet:
• Personal websites: You can use product images provided
that they are approved for marketing in the country where
you do business and the statements correspond to those
in the product catalog and on the product labels of your
country. All Members who use the Internet to sell products
for delivery in the United States and Canada must do so
exclusively through the GoHerbalife platform.
• Auction sites: The sale of products on auction sites is
prohibited. Sales on auction websites are not consistent
with Herbalife's business model, because this type of sales
weakens the personal relationship between Members and
clients, the Herbalife brand and the image that the company
wants to set for its products.
• Unsolicited email "spam": Sending unsolicited email
(spam) as a means to advertise Herbalife® products
violates the law and Herbalife Rules of Conduct.
• Domain/website registration: Members may maintain a
website to promote their business, Herbalife® products and
their organization. However, Members may not register/
use the word "Herbalife" as part of their URL. Members
may not use the word “Herbalife” in their title tags and
meta tags.

When advertising with product claims, it is important to remember that Herbalife® products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or
prevent any disease, and should never be represented that way.
• The advertisement should be true and not misleading.
• You may only make approved claims that appear on Herbalife® product labels, catalogs and official materials.
• Only claims specifically approved by Herbalife for each product on its label should be used. See the Guide to Making Claims for more details on MyHerbalife.com.
• Claims about Herbalife® products that may cure a disease or medical problem are strictly prohibited. This includes personal statements about solving a health problem, like diabetes, digestive disorders or curing a medical condition.
• No references are to be made to “prevention,” “improvement”, “cure” or “alleviation” of illnesses.
You should always check the product catalog to see whether the claim you are making needs to be accompanied by the following disclaimer: "These statements have

• References to “health” or “improving health” must not be made solely in relation to the products. “Well-being” is a useful alternative.
• The use of statements, such as “recommended by the medical field / authorities,” “healthy,” “rejuvenating,” etc., is not permissible.

When promoting the business opportunity, including work-from-home opportunities, remember to stress that direct selling is hard work,
and results will vary depending on the time, energy and dedication that goes into the business.
Business Opportunity Claims:
Members are self-employed, independent contractors and may not claim, represent or imply that they are employed by, speak for,
or provide any kind of consulting services to Herbalife or that the Herbalife opportunity is a job.
Lifestyle claims, like those involving cars, homes, vacations, etc., and personal testimonials about earnings or lifestyle are considered
income claims.
