One of the hardest objects I plan
on designing is a BlackBerry Curve.
I’ll add a reflective material on the
chrome rim to give it a good look.
It is very detailed as each buttons is
different from each other and they
all extrude from the device. I’ll be
basing my design on Blackberry
Curve 9320.
A harder object I plan on designing
is a can. I’ll add a reflective material on the top of the can to
make it look good.
This can will be easy to make as it
only requires a cylinder and edge loops.
A easier object I plan on designing
is a spoon. I’ll add a reflective material to get the right look.
The spoon will be one of the simpler
objects as it only requires a couple
of curves on the handle and the main part.
A easier object I plan on designing
is a TV. I’ll add a texture that adds buttons to the back so that the TV
looks better.
It mostly uses cuboids for the
screen, the framework and the base. I’ll also add my own brand to
avoid any copyright.
A easier object I plan on designing
is a lamp. I’ll add a reflective
material to the base to give it a better look.
This lamp will be pretty simple as it
only requires as cylinder as the
stand and then an empty cylinder as the shade.
A harder object I plan on designing
is a PlayStation Vita. I’ll add a
reflective material on the rim to give it a good look. I’ll change the
PS Vita logo to my own to avoid
copyright.
It is a hard object as it involves lots of miniature shapes such as flat 3D circles, 3D ovals and other quadrilaterals.
My environment will take place in a bedroom. I’ll
import some objects such as
plants, a rug, the drawer and
some pictures from
TurboSquid. This will give the bedroom the right feel. It will
be heavily influenced by the
picture on the right.
My animation will involve
all of the electronic
devices making sounds to
make music. Each of the
devices will play one
sound each and then it
will play to make a tuneful
beat but then the power
goes out and then the
BlackBerry and the Vita try
to turn the TV back on but
fail. My inspiration for the
animation was from a
game called Sound
Shapes. Just the name
inspired me to make the
animation.
I cannot use copyrighted images for
textures. They have to make or find some
royalty-free material.
I have to check the copyright on objects
from TurboSquid so that I’m sure that I
have permission to use it.
The material has to be appropriate for
the audience.
