Here's to the crazy ones. The misfits.

    The rebels. The troublemakers. The

round pegs in the square holes. Theones who see things differently.

They're not fond of rules. And they

have no respect for the status quo.

You can quote them, disagree with

them, glorify or vilify them. But the

only thing you can't do is ignore them.

    Because they change things. They

    push the human race forward.

And while some see them as the crazy

    ones, we see genius.

Because the people who are crazy

enough to think they can change the

world, are the ones who do.

    Education must begin

    with the solution of

    the teacher-student

    reconciling the poles

    of the contradiction so

    PLEs are not only personal

    web tools and personal

learning networks. PLEsare much wider than this,

    taking in experiences and

    realia, as well as learning

    through TV, music, paper

    based materials, radio &

    more formal contexts.

    Learning content is not as

    important now as where

(or who) to connect to, to

    find it.

    PWTs are any web tools,

    (usually Web 2.0) chosen

    by learners to support

    their lifelong learning.

    Making Connections

    In connectivism, learning involves creating

connectionsand developing a network. It is

a theory for the digital age drawing upon
