Included are three-time consen-sus choices, linebacker Jerry Rob-inson (1976-78) and free safetyKenny Easley (1978-80). They arethe only three-time consensus All-Americans in Pacific-10 Confer-ence history.
In 2003, All-America Dave Ballwas named Chevrolet DefensivePlayer of the Year. In 2001, All-America Robert Thomas was a fi-nalist for the Butkus Award. In2000, All-America Freddie Mitchellwas a finalist for the BiletnikoffAward.
In 1998, two Bruins — UnitasAward winner Cade McNown andOutland Trophy winner Kris Farris— were selected first-team All-Americans.
