Gauge:2.75 sts and 2 rows per inch after blocking

 Abbreviations:CH: chainSC: single crochetDC: double crochet

Directions:Chain 45 loosely. (Note: If you normally chaintightly, consider chaining with a larger hook.)

Row 1: 2DC in 3rd ch from hook, *skip 1 ch, SC innext ch, skip 1 ch, 3DC in next ch; rep from * to

last 2 ch, skip 1 ch, SC in last ch. Turn.

Row 2: CH 2 (2ch counts as first dc), 2DC in sc,*skip 1 dc, SC in middle dc, skip 1 dc, 3DC in sc;rep from * to last 2 sts, skip 1 dc, SC in dc. Turn.

Repeat Row 2 for about 75” or desired length.

Pin to block to desired measurements.

Note: Shawl can be made wider by chainingadditionally in multiples of 4.
