Young Leader Award
The ICF Young Leader Award celebrates coach practitioners under the age of 40 who are poised to lead ICF and the coaching profession into the future. Honorees embody the core values of ICF and represent a diverse community of emerging thought leaders.

Circle of Distinction
The ICF Circle of Distinction program celebrates the best of the coaching profession and ICF. Circle of Distinction members are experienced coach practitioners who have made their mark on ICF and the coaching profession.

Nomination Requirements
• Long-form responses to questions re: each of the scoring criteria
• Up-to-date version of the nominee’s CV or résumé
• Names and email addresses for two recommenders• Not the nominee
• Not the person completing the nomination

Nominations
Opening date: February 13, 2019
Deadline: April 3, 2019, at 2 p.m. (New York)
Nominations must be submitted electronically. Nomination forms and completed recommendation forms must be submitted by the April 3 deadline.
Selection Process
Nomination review: April 10–May 22
Finalist selection: Week of June 3
Finalist interviews: June 17–28
Honoree selection: Week of August 19
Honoree announcement: October 3
Celebration: October 23–26 at Converge 2019

Eligibility Criteria – Young Leader Award
• Self-nominated or peer-nominated
• ICF Member and Credential-holder in good standing
• 39 year of age or younger at the time of the nomination
• Not a 2018 Young Leader Award recipient
• Not a current member of the ICF Global Board of Directors
Scoring Criteria – Young Leader Award
• Scored on a 1–5 scale
• Evidence to date and potential for the future
• Rubric available for download at coachfederation.org/young-leader-award
• Five criteria• Contribution to and leadership in the coaching profession
• Career achievement
• Contributions to ICF
• Thought leadership
• Alignment with ICF’s core values• Integrity
• Excellence
• Collaboration
• Respect

• Must be nominated by a colleague or peer
• ICF Member in good standing
• ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC) or Master Certified Coach (MCC) in good standing
• Not a prior Circle of Distinction inductee
• Not a current member of the ICF Global Board of Directors
Scoring Criteria – Circle of Distinction
• Scored on a 1–7 scale
• Rubric available for download at coachfederation.org/circle-of-distinction
• Five criteria• Contribution to and leadership in the coaching profession• Career achievement• Contributions to ICF• Thought leadership• Alignment with ICF’s core values
