Connecting Places delivers high quality arts experiences to community and council-run venues and festivals across Victoria. The program is designed to be accessible, technically appropriate and affordable.
From lounge rooms to libraries, barns to black box theatres, and of course local halls Connecting Places shows can be performed in even the most unconventional of spaces.

Rogue Romantic Anya Anastasia
A soulful and thought provoking musical journey into the songs that were sung and shared on the missions where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people were relocated in the early 20th century. A beautiful revival of the almost forgotten stories that depict day to day life on the mission, exploring cultural identity, love and loss.

A circus adventure for 3-6 year olds!
Roll up! Roll up! Run away to the circus with this fun and physical show by Solid State Circus performer Luth Wolff. With hula hoops, unicycle, magic and plate spinning, Luth takes kids aged 3 - 6 on a madcap circus adventure, with plenty of help from the audience!

The Big Tops & Tiny Tots Circus Show Solid State Circus
Eight heartfelt and hilarious stories about Australian men. Award-winning Melbourne playwright Kieran Carroll presents his pocket comedy/drama series In The Mens a comic riot and thorough examination of generations of the Australian male.

Part game, part art, all fun, Fitter. Faster. Better. is a boot camp run entirely by children. Adult participants are paired with a 9-12 yr old Trainer who will take you through a workout designed to remind you how to have fun. Not ready to sweat? Come and sit and watch the fun unfold.

Melbourne’s’ own purveyors of junkyard theatre, The Suitcase Royale, present a tale of dastardly deeds and unfathomable adventure. In a small, dusty, outback town three men become embroiled in a devious and most sinister plot. Deliciously dark and exquisitely crafted, Chronicles of a Sleepless Moon is a funny, sad and surreal tale for all ages.
