  The Gate House southwest facade presents at least ve main materials in its

composition – wood, brick, concrete, glass and shingles. Nine different types ofwood could be identied between cladding, windows and door, making thismaterial the most predominant in the exterior of the building. Other than that,concrete and brick could be identied in the chimney, shingles in the roof andglass in the windows.

³  The identication of the exterior materials found in the building, as presented in Assignment 3, does not expo

the actual construction material, once it is not visible due to its nishing in wooden cladding. However,
