TESTIMONIALSNew India needs appropriate vision for sustainable, integrated & inclusive growth.
Member of business community across India and Europe will have to work in close cooperation with Government of India and members of European Union for implementing solutions on climate and energy.
The biggest environmental disaster is poverty and unless we eradicate poverty, we can’t have a level-playing field and we cannot have a definite way of sustainable living.
Sustainability is a multidimensional approach which encompasses all three dimensions; competitive and financial sustainability; job creating & social asset forming sustainability; and environmental sustainability.
Mr Nitin Jairam GadkariUnion Minister of Road Transport, Highways, Shipping, Water Resources, River Development, and Ganga Rejuvenation
Dr Mahesh SharmaMinister of State for Culture and Minister of State for Environment, Forest & Climate Change

Ms Shobana KamineniPast President, CII and Executive Vice-Chairperson, Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Limited
To ensure sustainable development, we need to work holistically on 5Ps - people, planet, peace, prosperity and partnership together.
One of the main things that CII is connected with is that our theme this year revolves completely around industry. It is called ‘industry together’. We realise that we cannot be alone in the journey. So, it is industry together, inclusive, ahead and sustainable.
Sustainability is not about technology, it’s about people. Therefore, the ethos of sustainability and to make cities livable must be a part of our thinking process.
Sustainability Summit is a landmark event; it has contributed significantly to raise awareness and to implement sustainability on the ground.
Mr Suresh P PrabhuMinister of Commerce & Industry and Civil Aviation
This Summit is extremely important on the calendar of sustainability in India and I compliment CII for all the work it has done for the nation.
