Successful Year Concluding
Thank you to everyone for your support of our
Presentation Night at Parkes High School Hall
last Tuesday evening. It was a wonderful night
for the school.
On behalf of the students at Parkes East,
I would like to thank the parents, friends of the
school and staff for their tireless efforts in
supporting our school. Good luck to our Year 6
students who are entering the next phase of
their life.
May we all have a safe and reinvigorating
break prior to returning in late January to do
more fabulous things at our school.
May your week, Christmas and school holiday
period be full of joy.
Michael Ostler and Jessica Neilsen
School concludes at 3:10pm this Friday 15 December. School resumes for students on Tuesday 30 January (Years 1-6) and
Wednesday 31 January (Kindergarten).
Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) Focus for this week is:
WE ARE SAFE
At school, this looks like: using all equipment safely, asking the teacher's permission before leaving the classroom, staying in
bounds when in the playground, keeping our hands and feet to ourselves, walking on the concrete
At home, this looks like: asking your parents to go outside and play, not answering the door to strangers, using cutlery safely,
telling your parents if you are concerned
FRUIT DONATION We thank Parkes Little
Athletics Club for sharing their donated fruit. It is much
enjoyed and appreciated.
We would appreciate any Trash and Treasure
donations, in saleable condition, for the Village Fair.
Please deliver them to the School Office.
WEEKLY ASSEMBLY Class 1O is co-ordinating
assembly this week; presenting Merit Certificates,
school reports and MC’ing. Parents are encouraged
to attend.
