Edward Dickinson of New York built the first waterfronthome on a 10 acre parcel on Sewall Road which has its namesake fromthe original 440 acre parcel owned by David Sewall, one of the original24 proprietors of the town in the early 1800s. Additional fine homes have been built for thoselucky enough to have a Sewall Road address.
