Congratulations to our Employee of the Year and SIR Second Runner Up
Barbara Williams!!!
The holiday season is upon us and our staff of elves have begun trans-forming our facility into a winter wonderland. Our Maintenance Director and his staff have created one of the largest holiday lights
displays in the city. Over 3,000 lights were used to create the holiday tree dis-play that extends from the second floor all the way up to the seventh floor. A bright red and green star tops the tree adding the perfect finishing touch to this spectacular display of lights. Our lobby has been touched by the holiday elves as well. The tree and accompanying decorations give a warm festive feeling sure to welcome all who enter. Each of our 6 resident floors has been deco-
rated to spread the holiday cheer. Our Activity Aides assisted the residents as they decorated the tree on their floor as well as the day rooms and hallways. As you walk through the facility you will notice that each floor’s decorations are different as they were designed and created by the residents who live on that floor.
We also enjoyed our annual holiday celebration - the Resident Holiday Party, held on December 17th at 2:00 PM in our din-ing room. We were very excited to welcome back the band
Ultimate Concept. They have performed at our Resident Holiday Party for the last 5 years and everyone really enjoys the lively music and dancing. Refreshments were also provided by the dietary team and presents where passed out.
Albany Care Staff and Residents would like to wish everyone a Happy Holiday Season!
