PCI and Data Security

• Paramount to our customers. Safeguards their relationships with consumers.

• Growing momentum behind Tokenization—reduces PCI scope and breach liability

• Highly-relevant to Cloud/SaaS, and all recurring and e-commerce models broadly

• One of few fully-integrated Tokenization-Processing Platforms, Litle Vault, launching formally this month

• Product Manager Osman Perksoy explains

Tokenization

Tokenization replaces the card account info with service provider generated tokens.

Tokens can be used in place of card numbers by all systems.

Provides security for data in-transit, at-rest and while data is in-use.

Benefits of Tokenization Technology

Reduced exposure to sensitive card data helps with reducing the PCI scope.

Tokens are valid only for the registered merchants.

Unlike card account numbers tokens are useless to unauthorized parties.

With a hosted PayPage application, tokenization can eliminate the exposure of the card numbers in merchant systems.

Page 10: Zuora luncheon final

Litle Vault Product Description

• Litle Vault is an integrated tokenization service delivered through the Litle Payment Processing Platform.

• Merchants enabled for the tokenization service can use tokens anywhere the card numbers are used in the Litle Platform.

• A token that is valid only for authorized registrants is returned when a card number is registered with the Litle Vault.

Page 11: Zuora luncheon final

Litle Vault Product Description

• The acquired tokens can be used in place of the card numbers in all transactions that are exchanged between the merchants and Litle.

• Tokens can be shared across multiple merchants or across multiple fulfillers/service providers for the same merchant.

• Unique tokens can be generated for specified merchants or merchant-presenter pairs.

Litle Vault Product Details

• For minimal merchant impact, Litle tokens preserve the card number format.

• Tokens are same length as the card numbers, they are all digits with the last four digits identical to the credit cards.

• The BIN digits of the card number are provided in a separate field in all messages that contain a token.

• Litle Tokens comply with a checksum algorithm for easy detection of typing errors.

Litle Vault Product Details

• Litle Tokens are generated from a set of numbers outside of the credit cards to prevent unintended use of a token as a card number, or vice versa.

• The merchant is provided with a token admin account that provides access to the actual card numbers for certain back end processing functions (chargebacks, accounting, etc.).

• Bulk extract function enables exporting of the card number-to-token mappings in an encrypted file on merchant’s request. Eliminates merchant lock-in.

Litle Vault Product Details

• Account Updater function is supported with tokens. A new token is returned, if the card number has been updated.

• Even though not in PCI scope, e-Check account number tokenization is provided for additional security.

• When used together Litle PayPage & Vault can eliminate the merchant exposure to sensitive cardholder data and can significantly reduce merchant PCI scope.
