EUI members have unlimited
institutional storage in the cloud!
Access to the Zotero Institutional
Storage from the EUI is restricted
to current members of the EUI
(Faculty, Fellows, Researchers and
Staff [*]), for the purposes of
research, teaching, and private
study.
Please Note: once your affiliation
to the EUI ceases, your Zotero
storage quota will revert to the
free 300 MB plan without prior
notice. No data will be lost but in
case you exceed 300 MB you will
be prompted by Zotero to
purchase a storage plan
accordingly (check the FAQ for
further details).

File Syncing in Zotero: no limit at EUI
• Data syncing syncs library items, but
doesn't sync attached files (PDFs, audio
and video files, images, etc.). To sync
these files, you can set up file syncing to
accompany data syncing, using either
Zotero File Storage or WebDAV.
• Zotero File Storage is the recommended
file sync option including syncing of files
in group libraries, web-based access to
PDFs and other attachments, easier
setup, guaranteed compatibility, and
improved upload performance for certain
files. Each Zotero user is given unlimited
syncing space at the EUI for attached

Capturing the web with Zotero
• The web is not stable by definition: zotero captures today
what you will need to view tomorrow.
• Zotero creates new primary sources directly from web pages
and sites viewed in your browser.
• Web sources need to be contextualized with zotero tags,
notes, meta-data’s and folders.
• Using the web as a «primary source database» obliges to
find web sites not anymore available online and previous
versions of websites. Zotero keeps as many versions you
need inside your folders.
• Zotero offers a correct way to cite and re-use captured web
contents

My ZoteroBibBibliographyready to be exported
• If you need to create a one-off bibliography for a paper, ZoteroBib is the
quickest and easiest way to do it.
• If you’re working on a longer-term project, want to build up a research
library to use across multiple projects, or need to collaborate with others,
Zotero offers many more features.
• ZoteroBib supports over 9,000 CSL styles, including popular styles such as
APA, MLA, and Chicago/Turabian. These are the same styles used in
Zotero. Citations are generated by the same sophisticated citation
engine used in Zotero.
• Your bibliography is stored in your browser’s local storage by default until
you delete them or clear your browser’s cache. You can close the page and
return to it later, and your bibliography will still be there — no need to
worry about saving your data or logging in.
