Tht following list of Foraminifera must not be looked as complete.

From several packets of shore-sand tiken from the vicinity of Dog's JBay near Ronudatone, and given to me by my friend Mr. Robert Welch

of Belfast I reget to say that from want of time only a portion of one of

them has been examined, with the resuzlt given below. I hope a:t an

early date to go through the remainder of the stuff. It is interesting to

note that the shore-sand at this locality is almost entirely made up of

small shells andl Forminifera. MilioUina secans and Truncatuinca lobatula

opcur in the greatest profusion, whilst Ditscorbina globzdarir, Ahiiolina s*brotunda and M. rcidais are also in great-numbers.
