Suggested Use These wearables are super easy to make and kids love wearing them. You can make them with the whole class, in small groups, or at a center. Just print the version of the templates that work best for your needs and follow the step by step instructions. Students can pick and make the one they want, or make all three of them.

WEARABLE INSTRUCTIONS NECKLACES If you are using the blackline version, first color the picture beads. Then cut out the pieces using our easy-cut grid, fold them in half, and paste them on a string. Then tie the string together to finish the vocabulary necklace. For added fun, add a plastic bead in-between each paper bead. Tip: Make sure students know that they only cut on the dotted lines. If you’re making these with preschool or kindergarten students, it might be helpful to model making the first one. CROWNS If you are using the blackline version, first color the crowns and the picture cards. Then cut out the picture cards and paste them above the matching vocabulary words. Then cut the crowns and bands apart and staple or tape the them to size. Tip: Make sure students cut the crowns and bands straight across the paper for maximum sizing flexibility. If a student accidentally cuts off part of the crown or band, you can always make an extension with a blank sheet of paper. BRACELETS If you are using the blackline version, first color the picture cards. Then cut out the picture cards and paste them below the matching vocabulary words. Then paste or tape them to size. Tip: When you cut the bracelets apart for students, cut straight across the paper for maximum sizing flexibility.
