Zombies!!The Stinking Dead

When I was a kid, I loved all the classic monsters like Frankenstein but not zombies. They scared me like no other monster could.

Naturally, I was a big fan of Halloween.

At night, we dressed up in costumes to get candy and in school we got to draw pictures of all our favorite monsters. I drew zombies.

The funny thing is, I wasn’t afraid of the

zombies I drew. Instead they were actually kind of awesome. Drawing them helped me face my fear. Now that I have a son, I hope some day he’ll be able to face his fears just as easily.

Saru

Like most cats, Giler was lazy.

So much so, that most dayshis best friend, Saru the monkey,

had to make the long climb from his tree up the hill

to Giler’s house just to see him.

Halloween was no different.

Saru had brought a worn old book of scary stories to share with Giler. They were well into some of the spookiest tales

when they suddenly felt a low rumble and heard a strange noise...
