THE HIGH-PERFORMANCE COMFORT

The ZOE lighting fixture expresses the combination of innovation and simplicity created by i-LD for office lighting: this lighting fixture provides

top lighting performance and optimum visual comfort in a clean and minimalist design.

Despite being only 18mm-thick, ZOE provides a comfortable, abundant and evenly-distributed light, the perfect solution to answer any work

environment lighting needs. People working in offices need to clearly see the surrounding environment, from their desk to transit areas, and,

at the same time, they should be able to focus on their tasks while their well-being is protected.

Thanks to the latest high-performance SMD LEDs and an innovative light-distribution system, ZOE provides perfect diffuse ambient lighting in

its version for ceiling or recessed mounting on plasterboard or a soft yet more focused lighting in its suspension version with double emission.

Moreover ZOE can be customised to meet the taste and the imagination of lighting designers, architects and all the protagonists of the lighting

technology sector.

ZOE is a sophisticated and discreet lamp: its clean and

minimalist industrial design perfectly and softly blends

in its surroundings, being it an office, a waiting room

or a transit area.

Thanks to its 18mm of thickness, ZOE remains

in the background with respect to the light it

provides and when switched off it turns into a

hardly visible silhouette.

LOW LUMINANCE

The ZOE low luminance is the result of the wide

light-emitting surface area, the innovative diffusion

system and the light source position. This feature

allows for an optimum environment illuminance with

a wide distribution surface area, while still providing

soft edges and evenness. A luminance that can be

appreciated the most in the suspended version which

features an indirect emission towards the ceiling

creating a wrap-around effect to emphasize volumes

and space depth.

LOW UGR VALUE

ZOE is a lighting fixture designed to provide high

light performance in any office while respecting the

workers well-being. For this reason ZOE provides

reduced UGR values (glare perception index) falling

within the parameters of the European standard for

indoor work places (EN 12464).

LOW TEMPERATURE

The LED power supply is optimised to guarantee

top light performance at an extremely low working

temperature. Thus ZOE provides maximum comfort

since it helps maintaining the ideal temperature within

modern offices where several electronic appliances

inevitably generate heat. A cooler environment

also leads to energy saving since it requires a less

intensive use of air conditioning systems.

The i-LD flexibility and creativity guarantee a wide range of customised versions

designed to provide new solutions required by any project.

ZOE offers, among the many possible customizations:

8OPTI-3TECHNIQUE IN OPTICS

FLUX PRESERVER

High-reflectance aluminium and PVC panel reduces light dispersion and improves up-ward heat sinking.

DISSIPATING LAMP BODY

A printed circuit for highly-efficient SMD LEDs, adjusted for longitudinal emission, is placed inside this extruded aluminium profile.

OPTICS SYSTEM

This highly transparent extruded PMMA panel undergoes a special silk-screening pro-cess to improve light emission conveyance and distribution.

DIFFUSER

This one-side satin-finished cast PMMA shade provides high protection and an optimum light diffusion.

STATE-OF-THE-ART DIFFUSION

The evolution of the lighting sector does not always entail the choice of the light

source providing the best performance: often the light emission control provides

the best outcome. A control consisting of innovative optics systems capable of

conveying the light in the most efficient way while limiting dispersion; a control

providing glare reduction to guarantee the visual comfort needed to focus on any

activity without tiring the eyes. ZOE features the innovative OPTI-3 diffusion optics

system representing the best in light distribution control, designed in Linea Light

Group research laboratories. Thanks to the physical properties of several materials

and to the special processing they undergo, i-LD provides unprecedented light

evenness and quantity. These materials include polymethylmethacrylate, a

thermoplastic material featuring high mechanical resistance and light transmission.

LONG-LASTING LIGHT

ZOE features extremely high-performing PLCC SMD LEDs allowing for a highly

efficient design thanks to the operational characteristics of this type of diode. i-LD

created a management printed circuit to be placed along the edges of the lighting

fixture body, which is made from super-pure extruded aluminium, allowing for the

lighting fixture to have an overall 18mm thickness.

Thanks to an accurate power supply management, the lamp working temperature is

extremely low guaranteeing a highly-efficient long-lasting light source.
