WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY Our next class will be Thursday, December 14, at 1 p.m.
CHANCEL CIRCLE members will meet at 8:30 a.m. on December 16 to put out the Christmas poinsettias in the Chancel area. We will not have our regular meeting.
THE 2018 FLOWER CALENDAR has been put up. If you are interested in donating flowers, put your name and
phone number on the line by that date. A member of Chancel circle will contact you for any information you want print-ed in Life and Growth. The price for a set of two bouquets is $70. Thank you.
CHRISTMAS CARDS are available in the card racks in the upper foyer. There are individual cards for sale as well as boxed cards.

wafers.
If you wish to receive the Gluten-free wafers, pick up a white disk from the stands before the communion rail. Show the disk to the Elder distributing wafers and leave on the communion rail when finished.

Board of Lay Ministry
What is the board’s purpose?
To oversee the spiritual welfare of the members of Zion.
To oversee the spiritual welfare of the Pastor and other workers;
Supervision of everything pertaining to Zion’s worship.
What are 5 top responsibilities of the board?
Pray for and encourage the Pastor and other spiritual leaders in their
work by word and action.
Be concerned about the spiritual, emotional, and physical health and
welfare of the Pastor and other spiritual leaders and their families.
Assist the Pastor in maintaining the spiritual health and well-being of
the members of Zion.
Ensure Zion functions in accordance with established doctrine of the
Church.
Meet regularly to discuss issues brought before the board.
Who currently serves on the board?
Harley Trautman, Eldor Goetz, James Rath, Chris Rooke, Ken Paul,
Josh Schuh, Steve Graf, Oren Danielson, Gary Semmel, and Brian
Rosin.
How could new board members be of value?
New board members would be able to provide input and views
