    Chinese Collection of Ritual Studies

    Rite is the core concept in Chinese culture. This collection refers to the work of collecting and sorting for the first time ever a classified compilation of ritual literature from huge collections of Chinese ritual studies both within China and abroad. This collection is a comprehensive library of ritual studies, of ritual etiquette, of ritual gifts, of ritual systems, customs, music, courtesy etc. The collection includes about 350 volumes, about 2800 kinds of works collected in all. It is a large scale reorganization and publication of Chinese culture with the starting point being important cultural classics such as Buddhist Sutras, Taoist Collection, Confucian Collection and Zihai and so on. There is no doubt that it fills the gap regarding literature compilation, reorganization, annotation and proofreading regarding any research concerning ritual studies.

    Collected Works of Shen Kuo

    Adept with both the pen and the sword, Shen Kuo was a politician, great scholar and well known scientist around the world during the Northern Song Dynasty of China.
