In todays modern world the natural conditions of the air have changed, conditions of electrical charges in the air have become unbalanced where by the increase of positively charged ions create many physiological disturbances to the health and well being of the common good due to the reduction of negatively charged atmospheric ions .

Such anions ( negative charged ions) facilitate wellbeing and good health and anionic concentrations in the air is forcibly lowered within interior environments of buildings by pollution, centralised heating, air conditioning, air born particles, chemicals and static electricity generated by electrical fields from appliances.

Therefore, both in the workplace and at home, most people breathe in anion depleted air, it is to be realised positive ions are considered harmful to the human body.

High levels of anions are desirable, in nature negative ions are created with air molecules broken apart from sunlight, radiation, and moving air or water.

High anion concentrations are found in places like the beach, in forests , in the mountains and more so near waterfalls of which such high anion concentrations have proven to help relieve stress, alleviate depression boost energy and make us feel invigorated when visiting such locations.

Anion depletion in the air alters our body chemistry which typically leads to fatigue and more strain on our immune system.

Why use Zeoair anionic charged panels ?

The Zeoair anionic air remediation and filtration panel forcibly draws polluted air within the system cavity by vacuum and subsequently removes fine particles, adsorbs noxious vapors and kills air born micro organisms by the action produced by an anion generator which neutralises all polluting agents contained in the air stream such as bacteria, viruses, dust mites, pollen, spores, various dusts, foul odours, noxious gases and automotive exhaust fumes.

High concentrations of negatively charged ions are emitted within the interior of the Zeoair Anionic panels for an extended time duration, it has been shown that the susceptibility of bacterial strains to negative air ions have an antimicrobial effect and is considered to be mainly due to the electric field of these ions which causes an electrostatic disruption of the bacterial cell wall and finally leading to bacterial cell death.

The Zeoair anionic air remediation filtration panel’s ionisation process substantially decreases odours in hospitals or clinics through the elimination of organic molecules suspended in the air and neutralises volatile organic compounds by transforming them into CO2 and H2O, the process also renders viruses, bacteria and allergens inert by breaking their external membrane, it also inactivates molds, fungi and spores.

Zeoair anionic charged panels remove air born particles by also charging these neutral particles which then leads them to be attracted and attach to the external surfaces of the Zeoair anionic panels whereby the particles are further adsorbedwithin the aerated catalytic compound inherent of the Zeoair geo polymer substrate.

In a sickroom or hospital, Zeoair panel’s clean air discharge will help disinfect the room to reduce the possibility of spreading germs from one person to another. Ozone will gently penetrate into all cracks and crevices in the room, even under sheets and blankets, to help kill germs of all kinds.

The clean air expelled from the Zeoair system is purified, sanitised and electrically optimised by rebalancing the anionic charge density of the exhaust air stream to high levels found in nature.

Anionic charged clean air benefits hospital patients thus :

Respiratory system: improves lung function. 30 minutes after anion intake, the lung is able to inhale 20% more oxygen and exhale 14.5% more carbon dioxide

Cardiovascular system: significantly reduces blood pressure, improves cardiac muscle function and nutrition, and facilitates the dilation of capillary vessel and the rise of skin temperature.

Nerve system: energizes whole body, improves sleep quality, eases pain and tension.

Metabolism: activates different enzymes in body, reduces blood sugar level, cholesterol, increases blood calcium, increases the amount of nitrogen and creatinine in urine, accelerates bone growth, prevents scurvy, rachitic and vitamin insufficiency.

Blood: increases the number of white and red blood cells, hemoglobin, reticulocyte, blood platelet, globin, heightens PH reading and shortens blood forming time.

Immune system: improves reflex system and endothelial system.

The Zeoair anionic panel has an in built high sensitive air quality sensor that detects the presence of volatile organic composites, noxious gases, formaldehyde, cigarette smoke, ammonia and all polluting agents that are in the air.

The Zeoair smart CPU controlled air quality sensor samples and measures particle count of the scrubbed air contained within the cavity of the Zeoair panel prior to being exhausted to the atmosphere of a room, if the Zeoair panels have reached a saturation point due to adsorption or blocked filters an alert is provided by luminescent indicators as to the level of air contamination.

This information is translated into colouring of LED tell tale indicators, whereby red illumination equates to poor air quality and therefore the Zeoair panel requires regeneration and cleaning, blue indication equates to an acceptable air quality level whereby green illumination indicates the ultimate of air purity with high anion content.

When the yellow indicator flashes the sensor detects a drop in the domestic environmental air quality, such flashing colour signal equates to enabling automatic mode whereby the fan and ioniser is activated to scrub the air and emit anions to the air stream for exhaust to the room until the anion balance and air purity is re-established.

Zeoair ensures air quality assurance.

ZEOAIRMedical clinics, hospitals and healthcare facilities possess many perceivable odours emanating from chemicals, sick rooms, urine, fecal, vomit, spill, bacteria, fungus, mold, mildew, food and other odours which can result in complaints from patients who perceive the air to be polluted and unhealthy.

ZEOAIR Ambient air purification and atmospheric sanitisation panels are specially developed to eliminate offensive hospital odors on contact without masking them with chemical fragrances.

By placing the regenerative ZEOAIR panels or privacy screens in patient rooms and in return air ducts, ZEOAIR compounds will cleanse the air of offensive odors, complement existing ventilation systems and result in a fresher smelling environment and a healthier, chemical free atmosphere for patients to recuperate in.

ZEOAIR Ambient air purification and atmospheric sanitisation panels can work for years and is very cost effective.

Pending the level of pollutants, tri-annual periodical regeneration of the panels is required whereto maintain maximum adsorption capacity and sanitisation, this is achieved by the ZEOAIR panel exchange service personnel undertaking the speedy swapping of the partitions, screens, panels or vent linings with regenerated panels.

ZEOAIR is non-toxic, safe, reusable, recyclable, natural and non-flammable.

ZEOAIR is an ideal environmentally friendly solution for eliminating unpleasant hospital odours without adding pollutants to the air you breathe. It does not contain VOCs, harmful or ozone depleting chemicals and is especially beneficial for those suffering from allergies and chemical sensitivity.

The requirements for air quality in indoor environments can be summarised in three key statements:

1. Protection of the common good against airborne contaminants.

2. Protection against micro-organisms in buildings.

3. Reliable filtering of non disease-causing particles, as these can also act as a vehicle for spreading bacteria.

Some of the most effective locations for ZEOAIR screens, partitions, wall or ceiling panels and or linings within air ducts whereto combat malodour and provide air quality control include the following:

• Patient waiting areas.• Consulting rooms.• Operating theatres.• ICUs.• Laboratories.• Common areas such as hallways and corridors.• Staffrooms.• Kitchens.• Underground car parks.• Hazmat storage areas.• Sterilisation rooms.• Dentistry rooms.• Shops and Super markets.• Smoker designated areas.• Homes.• Restaurants.ZEOAIR panels eliminate odors and pollutants 24/7.

ZEOAIR panels do not mask odours with harmful chemical fragrances.

ZEOAIR panels result in cleaner healthier indoor air.

ZEOAIR panels are reusable for years to reduce cost.

ZEOAIR panels are safe and non-toxic.

ZEOAIR provides an environment which promotes faster convalescing.
