The LEGION OF HONOR is again planning our annual four day bus trip to the Nation's Capital areaon November 3 thru 6, 2016. This is our 27th year to attend the Wreath Laying Ceremony at the Tomb ofthe Unknowns which is conducted by the International Association Legions of Honor. We will send youan itinerary with our next mailing, usually mid September with any balance due if any.

We have contracted for two 56 passenger buses. The bus cost has gone up significantly in the last coupleyears. We will be leaving on Thursday morning November 5, 2016 at 7:00 A.M. from Zenobia ShrineCenter, 8048 Broadstone Avenue, Perrysburg, OH 43551. Please park only in the designated area (far westside of Zenobia by First Solar at the grass). Please advise me of your intentions as soon as possible as weoperate on a first come first serve basis and we have had several more that are interested this year. If youplan to take the trip, please return your registration form and deposit to me as soon as possible. If youwent last year and do not plan to join us this year, please let me know.

The back of this sheet gives the cost per couple and/or single. Single price is based on doubleoccupancy. If you are interested in going as a single, you will be required to find a room mate. TheInternational event housing chairman requires the registration information and deposit from me as soon aspossible.

This year as in the past we will plan for dinner out at a special restaurant on Friday evening November4. This is usually a single bus load. More information will be available later.

Please complete the registration form and return it to me, with your deposit check if you plan tomake the trip. Reservation deadline is July 1, 2016. There is a $20 discount per couple ($10 single) forreservations received before July 1, 2016 and a $10 discount per couple ($5 single) for reservations receivedbefore August 1, 2016. The balance will be due by October 1, 2016. You get round trip bus fare, 3 nightslodging, snacks and refreshments on the bus, open hospitality room, bus tour of the D.C. area andmemorials, IALOH Wreath Laying Ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknowns, and a terrific weekend!! Areally great deal!!

From the IALOH D.C. Housing Chairman, we are required to make a down payment per room assoon as possible to hold our rooms. Reservation deadline is July 1, 2016 for the $20 discount and August1, 2016 for the $10 discount. Reservations received after August 20 are subject to availability. The balanceis due by October 1, 2016. Discount will be applied to total after receipt of reservation. Cancellations onOctober 1st and after will be prorated. There is a limited number of available rooms. Last year all roomswere filled.
