Sketches are made that lead to the first Zen Barcelona designs.

Zen Barcelona’s first collection is presented at the Silmo Trade Fair in Paris.

Both our way of seeing the world and our frames extend to Brazil and the United States.

Zen Barcelona designs are released to European markets.

The brand consolidated its position in the market with 70 new models every year.

All Zen designs are designed and created entirely in Barcelona by our team of designers in a process that typically takes about six months.

We work with different materials, either individually or combined, to create innovative models with

stunning finishes that are, above all, comfortable.

We improve, revise, and rethink each design from the first sketch to the final prototype. Only then can we

Barcelona’s streets, squares and parks inspire the names for each of our models. This is our way of inviting everyone to take a stroll down

Las Ramblas and Diagonal.

The collection is updated four times a year, and special lines that explore a specific concept and material are also designed.

We capture the purity of the wood grain in this collection. An irreverent commitment for those who live life

PROPERTIES OF ACETATE WITH A WOOD FINISH

But a series of tests demonstrated its low resistance and rapid deterioration.

We created the wood finish as a result: the romantic touch and look of wood with

the properties of acetate.

PURE MINIMALIST RESISTANCE

Extremely lightweight laminated acetate frames with surprising shapes

unsuitable for serious people. The acetate is reinforced with an extra-fine steel skeleton to maintain the brand’s

standards of quality and durability.
