    Benjamin Wolf (Musical Director) is a conductor,

    pianist, composer, singer and academic. He hasperformed with the Zemel choir at major Londonvenues, on tour to Europe and Israel, and for theBBC. He conducts a number of choirs in and aroundLondon, as well as composing music for theatre andthe concert hall and singing with the acclaimed

    barbershop quartet, bOYbershop. He works in the MusicDepartments of Royal Holloway and Bristol universities.

    The music of the Sephardim has proven beguiling andattractive to audiences throughout the world. It hasinspired folk bands and composers of choral, instrumentaland orchestral music, offering a glimpse into the world of Spanish Jewry many hundreds of years ago, and demonstrat-ing the musical diversity of the Jewish diaspora. This musicis the focus of the Zemel Choir's 2011 Celebrate With Song,an event now in its fifth year and aimed at attracting newsingers and new audiences to mixed-voice Jewish choralmusic.     WORKSHOP LEADERS

    Michael Cayton (Choral Technique) is in demand

    as a choral conductor, accompanist and organ-ist. He has performed at major concert venuesin London and cathedrals all over Great Britainand abroad. He has made several broadcastsfor BBC radio. He is Director of Music at St.John's Wood Church in London where he con-ducts the Church's critically acclaimed profes-

    sional choir, is the Organist at Belsize Square Synagogueand Musical Director of the Chiltern Choir

    Gareth Roberts , ARAM, GRSM, LRAM (Vocal Technique) isa former member of the BBC Singers. Since leaving the BBCSingers he has worked mainly with the Royal Opera Houseand other professional groups. He is a professor of singingat the Royal Academy of Music, and taught at the City Litfor many years. He has given masterclasses both here inthe UK and as far afield as Brazil.
