Before you start your integration

Before you start your integration make sure you have decided the following:

1. who will be the players youll need email addresses of each of your players2. what metrics you want in this example well use Pipedrive for the CRM. The Zapier PipeDrive Trigger

allows the following:a. New Dealb. New Personc. New Organisation

3. How often you plan to release your leaderboard (e.g. daily or weekly) to let your players know their score

Getting API keys

Youll need an API key from both Leaderboarded and Zapier

To see your Leaderboarded API key visit:https://www.leaderboarded.com/api/details/{your_player_id }

If you dont have a key go to:https://www.leaderboarded.com/api/details/{your_player_id}/generate And it will generate you a new API key

In this example well create a simple leaderboard based on the value of Won Deals.

Set up your leaderboard

Set up your leaderboard as follows:

Create a Custom leaderboard (Leaderboards Create Leaderboard Custom Leaderboard)

Go to Players | Player Source and set up the player source as manual with email as the Unique Identifier

Go to Connectors and create an API connector (push scores via the API)

Make a note of the Source ID and Leaderboard ID once the connector is saved.

Set up Zapier

Go to Zapier and create a new Zap from PipeDrive to LeaderboardedThe Private Beta invite link ishttps://zapier.com/developer/invite/5822/68bfe07ec75ac961dae498a937fffdb5/Accept it if you havent already

Zapier will take you through the steps of authenticating with Pipedrive and with Leaderboarded.

Using the Leaderboarded Action for New Score set your Zap settings as follows:

Player Identifier Type emailScore added a Pipedrive field ValueScore Ref added a pipedrive field for PipelineID and StageScore Data added a pipedrive field for Title

Save the Zap and make it active.

Running the leaderboard

Now in Pipedrive add a new deal and progress it to the Won stage.Run the Zap manually.Now in Leaderboarded you should see the deal added to the Metrics for Won Deals:

Now release your leaderboard and see the leaderboard youve created.
