The 2004 Zanzibar is a product of years of listening to our owners, taking their suggestions, and

understanding the things that contribute to a superior motorhome experience. This year, we’ve given the

exterior a sleek new look, with smooth gel coat fiberglass sidewalls and fender skirts, polished aluminum

wheels, and deluxe full-body paint. The redesigned front cap features contemporary headlamps and fog

lights, as well as a new windshield. Ready to turn heads? Because wherever you go, the Zanzibar is sure to

Welcome to the Zanzibar’s mission control. This year, we’ve redesigned the dash to feature

an attractive bird’s-eye burl instrumentation panel, black gauges with gray lettering, and gun

metal bezels. All the controls are ergonomically situated within easy reach, and some of the many

features include a color rear vision system with audio, a dash stereo with optional Sirius radio system,

optional CB radio, and optional power sunvisors. Plus, drivers of all sizes will be comfortable behind

the wheel, thanks to our adjustable brake and accelerator pedals.

Welcome to a whole new world of luxury. Where style

and convenience combine to create a coach that

anticipates your every need. And numerous optional

features let you customize the interior to suit

you perfectly. This year, you have your choice of

four beautiful color schemes, each with exquisite

color-coordinated fabrics, carpeting, and window

treatments. The hardwood cabinetry comes standard

in alder wood or with optional regal cherry or natural

maple. Decorative lighting sets the mood just right

in the living room, dining room, and bedroom.

And now, the living room and bedroom slide-outs

feature an attractive hardwood fascia. At mealtimes

you’ll appreciate the ingenious legless dinette table

with two freestanding chairs. Or, if you prefer, you

have the option of a booth dinette with a wood top.

Enhance the luxury of your coach with this optional Euro recliner and ottoman in our amazing UltraLeather® covering.UltraLeather® is a plush alternative to high-quality leather,designed to stand up to all the wear and tear of life on the road.

In the front of the coach, you’ll be in the

lap of luxury, thanks to the comfort of the

UltraLeather® pilot and co-pilot seats.

And to make them even cozier, you have

The Zanzibar’s exquisite style and beauty

continue into the galley where you’ll find many

distinctive touches. Beautiful ceramic tile flooring

graces both the kitchen and bath, and the solid

surface countertops and sinks give the coach a

sleek, contemporary look. The top-notch

appliances include a double-door refrigerator with

ice maker, a high-output two-burner cooktop,

and a spacesaver convection microwave with

touch control. Or if you prefer, you may choose

the excellent options of a large four-door

refrigerator or a three-burner range with oven.

When it comes towashing dishes orrinsing salad greens,nothing compares tothe convenience of this pull-out faucet.

The new rounded counteredge adds beauty to the kitchen and makes the countertop easier to keep clean.

The bathroom is as roomy as it is attractive, with

year we’ve added drawer space to the vanity.

The one-piece fiberglass shower features a touch of

Safari etched on the glass door. And a bathtub, standard

on the 40213, is an option on all other models.

For superior front-to-rear balance and overallperformance, you can’t beat the Roadmaster

RR4S. Roadmaster chassis are customized to the exact specifications of each Safari coach model and include many distinguishing features that make them the right chassis for your luxury motorhome.

• Cushion Air Glide suspension provides a smoother ride with excellent handling and cornering.

• The Zanzibar’s side-mounted radiator increases cooling capacity and allows for easier engine access.

• The SmartStructure® basement truss system, combined with the raised rail chassis, provides greater strength and structural integrity while reducing weight and increasing storage capacity.

• A wider, 34˝ spacing between the frame rails offers greater side-to-side stability. The rails also widen in the rear of the coach to accommodate engine access.

• The full air brakes with Automatic Traction Control (ATC) and anti-lock braking system (ABS) offer superior control. The ABS system maintains traction and steering when braking on slick surfaces, while the ATC system eliminates wheel spin during acceleration.

• Adjustable brake and accelerator pedals let each driveradjust to the perfect position in seconds, at the flip of a switch. Together with the tilt-telescoping steeringcolumn, this system greatly reduces driver fatigue.

• A PAC™ exhaust brake system allows the driver to use engine exhaust braking on long downhills, savingbrake wear and enhancing safety.

• Dual fuel fills provide the convenience of filling the fuel tank from either side of the coach.

• A 10,000-lb. hitch receiver gives the coach powerfultowing capacity.

As part of Monaco CoachCorporation, you have access

to the industry’s largest servicenetwork, with 350 facilities

from coast to coast.

Safari coaches are painted in our own state-of-the-art facilityusing a multi-step paint process to help lengthen the life ofyour motorhome’s exterior. Once the coach is sanded, a sealerand base coat are applied. Graphics are then put on by hand,and the coach is spray painted, using only the highest qualitypaint. When this is complete, the coach is ready for the finalsteps in the process, the application of three layers of clearcoat. This finishing touch gives your coach added protection as well as its beautiful luster and sheen.
