Engineering Division In our engineering division, conveyor belt construction forms part of our main focus. The company’s objective is to supply the industry with a complete construction concept involving the erection of surface as well as underground conveyor structures. This includes the complete manufacturing and installation of the tipping point, static or vibrating feeder, tail end, drive and take-up sections of the conveyor belts also included are box front installations, installing services for mining, water and air pipelines and to provide maintenance capabilities to the installed structures and services.

All installations will meet the applicable requirements for design, construction, inspection, testing, maintenance, and operation, as prescribed in the ANSI B20.1-1957, Safety Code for Conveyors, Cableways, and Related Equipment.

Our teams have 30 years’ experience in the field of line boring where quality and precision are of the highest calibre. Our on-site precision machining division offering line boring and repairs, serving a wide range of industries on a 24 hour, 7 day a week working program as required by our customers. In line boring, or machine bores of large items that cannot be easily removed from site for repair, to coupling holes that have worn or are damaged to a degree that requires repair, our highly trained line boring technicians can meet all of your requirements.

We have top of the range portable boring machines to cover a whole range of repair or modification projects on-site/in-situ whether it be in emergency or planned maintenance situations. Our team is fully versed in the production of equipment necessary to undertake all forms of portable line boring activities. Our transportable line boring machines are of rigorous standards in terms of accuracy, this in combination with our highly motivated and skilled workforce presents customers with the confidence required to undertake high precision on-site, in place line boring projects of important major items of production equipment.

Machining is carried out in conjunction with an alignment technique, laser or optical and is essential to the success of the project. Where bores are worn and tolerances outside the OEMs design parameters, bores can be repaired using a variety of procedures to re-instate them back to standard size. In the event that OEMs provide oversize shell bearing, this would be a simpler option than these procedures. This method in our experience is rare as OEMs prefer to operate machines with standard parts.
