Objective
-Size and optimize an original logo as a .png or a web page.-Write content to describe the process o creating my logo andhow it appeals to a target audience.-Acquire a working knowledge o HML.-Acquire a working knowledge o CSS.-Identiy hex colors to match logo, using Photoshop color picker.
ProcessI designed the logo previously using Photoshop and InDesign.Tis was the first time I worked with HML and CSS. I learnedhow to put an image in the background working with CSS. I usedPhotoshop to enhance coloring in the web page. I also croppedthe image in Photoshop so the ocus would be on the peoplewith a certain amount o complementing sunset. In the CSS, Ichanged the ont style and sizing. Margins and padding were also
changed to make the body more center aligned.

Objective
-Set up and align a two-sided, olded document.-Create an original, new logo and use it in a brochure.-Learn how to wrap text around an image.-Use paragraph styles in InDesign.
ProcessI used Photoshop to edit the pictures or the brochure. InDesignwas used to put everything together. I arranged things so that thestrings would be in the back and the picks would be bound bya maroon stroke. I used extWrap to put the words around theimages. Te ront is designed to be shorter than the back becausethe guitar picks on the inside stick out. Te black edge outsidethe picks is meant to be trimmed off. Te gray edge on the back

ProcessI brought both o these images rom online and blended themin together on Photoshop. I used drop shadows to highlight thewords. Te words are rom the LDS hymn “Be Sti ll My Soul.”I saturated the images to show the contrast. Tere is alignmentthat brings the message rom “Friend” in the light, down toChrist in the image.

-Learn basic photography skills.-Use a digital camera to take a quality image and download it.-Size and crop the image.-Adjust image brightness, contrast, hue, and saturation levels.-Use a selection tool to isolate a portion o the image.-Desaturate the selected portion o the image.
-Use a filter or colorize a portion o the image.
ProcessI captured an image and used Adobe Photoshop to enhance thehues and saturations. I aligned the words according to the skyin the top right. Te words in the bottom hal o the photo alsoalign with the building, the tree, and other words. Under thewords in the sky, the sun is lef as a ocus point behind the tree,supporting the red light behind them. Tey are also lef in bold
to not disappear in the light.

ProcessI first made various sketches to come to a final design. I thendrafed a final version in Adobe InDesign. Te black circles makea great contrast as well as an alignment or the flow. Te wordsalso lead the viewer down an aligned path. Te top black circleand the people both run off the edge or an asymmetricalpattern. I bolded key words in the text to stand out to the viewer.I was given the image, logo, and content or this flier.

ProcessI downloaded the ont rom http://www.daont.com and used itor the words. Adobe Illustrator was able to allow me to test outdifferent styles o logos and see which details would be best in it.I changed the background colors and ont colors according todifferent possibilities. E
