Failure to complete a Farm Development Plan (FDP) within 60 days of the letter of acceptance of your application by the Agriculture Branch may result in cancellation of your application.
The PROJECT PROPOSAL FORM: LAND DISPOSITIONS (attached to this FDP) is deemed to be part of the Farm Development Plan submission and must be filled in and submitted to complete the FDP requirement. Please note that the Project Proposal Form is available as a fillable pdf form on the Yukon Environmental and Socioeconomic Assessment Board (YESAB) website (http://www.yesab.ca/).

The information contained in or attached to this application is being collected under the authority of the Lands Act, the Territorial Lands (Yukon) Act and the Subdivision Act to be used for the purpose of reviewing the request for land. It will be made available to government and the public as part of the review process as per the Access to Information and Protection of Privacy Act. All financial information shall be treated with strictest confidence. 1. Please explain your farming background including use of heavy equipment, pesticides, previous farm experience, course work and related Yukon experience.
2. What agriculture products will the operation be producing? Please list the various crops and livestock that will be grown or raised on your farm. Provide estimated yields on a per acre basis and, for livestock, list estimated number and slaughter weight of animals. This information should reflect your initial production through to your anticipated full production level.
3. Explain your need for the acreage you have applied for? Parcel size should reflect a good fit for your proposed farming operation.
4. Please explain how and where you plan to market your farm products so that your operation will achieve economic viability. Use current examples of estimated revenues and explain future markets and opportunities. (be specific)
5. Please describe in detail your development activities and schedule for completion including infrastructure. Attach a map (to scale). Show where on the application each of the developments will occur.
