10/31 Hallelujah Night Harvest Festival - Community Outreach
October 31st will be our annual October outreach to our community. We will have skits and a carnival with games. Many volunteers and lots of candy will be needed!
It’s Not Too Late to Help!!
Publicity: Create community flyers, advertise on radio & newspaper and
promote the event Greeters: Welcome guests and help with crowd control Hostess: Help guide guests inside the church to the different skits Drama/Skits: Be an actor in one of our Bible/Drama skits Carnival Game Host: Create your own carnival game and host it as you
hand out candy to children Food & Kitchen: Recruit others to make/donate goodies for guests to eat
& serve refreshments during event Set up & Clean up: Help take chairs out of sanctuary, set up carnival
games and then put the sanctuary chairs back Decorations: Decorate the church with fall decorations including:
pumpkins, corn stalks and other fall decorations If you are interested in helping with any of these jobs, please contact Jason Richardson 208-543-9959

Scouting helps youth develop academic skills, self-confidence, ethics, leadership skills, and citizenship skills that influence their adult lives. A PRAYER ON BECOMING
A PRAYER WARRIOR
DEAR GOD, what an incredible privilege, what
an honor, what a personal blessing it is that You
have invited me to come into Your very
Presence through prayer! Forgive me for the
times when I have not prayed to You because I thought I was too
busy or because I simply didn’t have the faith to believe that
prayer changes the world—and changes me.
God, I acknowledge that I need to pray for my spiritual well being
and for the various needs in my life. God, I also know I have
friends and family who need my prayers. God, there is a lost and
hurting world, which needs me to be a prayer warrior.
As my country is in distress, I recommit myself right now to being
a person of prayer. I will pray alone and with others I will voice
words to You and I will be silent to listen for Your voice. Thank
You that I will more and more become the person You want me to
be through Your gracious invitation to talk with You each day.
