Program Outcomes

Youth Outreach Support is funded by Island Health

and the Ministry of Children and Family

Development. There is no cost to clients.

The Outreach Worker Can Help With . . .

To provide a support service that meets the needs of youth.

In 2017-2018:

Outreach workers had 1,029 supportive contacts with youth.

94% of youth reported that their situation is better since meeting their outreach worker.

Referrals

Referrals can be made by community service providers, teachers, counsellors, parents, friends, doctors, RCMP, and social workers, or youth can self refer.
