Youth News

Elevate!: Elevate continues “You’ve Got A Friend In Me” today at 11:00, for K-5th Grade. We’ll help your kids learn how to choose their friends and how to be a friend.

Discovery Club (ages *2 1/2-5: must be toilet trained)- Tonight from 6:00-7:15 in room 109! We learn through play, singing and dancing, dramatic storytelling, and getting messy. Join us tonight!

Cool Kids (grades K & 1): Meet at the Community Center (on the other side of the cemetery) at 6:00. We’ll be working on our Christmas musical, In A Galilee Far, Far Away. Pick up is at the main building at 7:15. Wear tennis shoes/sneakers!

Motion (grades 2-4): Meet in Room 102 tonight at 6:00. Pick up is at the Community Center where we will be working on our Christmas musical, In a Galilee Far, Far Away. Wear tennis shoes/sneakers!

Bodybuilders: Tonight at 6:00, in the fellowship hall, for all 7th-12th graders.

Seventh-ninth graders: Your team-building afternoon at BRCC is today. Meet here at 1:30, and you’ll be back in time for Bodybuilders. Wear warm clothes and comfortable shoes (no open-toe shoes).

Tenth-twelfth graders: Your team-building afternoon at BRCC is next Sunday, October 14. Meet here at 1:30, and you’ll be back in time for Bodybuilders. Wear warm clothes and comfortable shoes (no open-toe shoes).

Go MAD!: All 2nd through 6th graders, meet in the Fellowship Hall on Tuesday, October 16, 6:00-8:00 pm. We’ll continue to make hats as a fundraiser for the Generosity Campaign. We have all of the supplies that we need.

Bodybuilders: We’re playing paintball Saturday, October 27. Meet at Wolf’s Ridge at 11am. Cost is $25 (cash only).

Communion Clean-Up Volunteers NeededThank you to those that are helping prepare communion for the

rest of the year. Now, we are looking for volunteers to help clean up communion on Sunday mornings. If you are interested in helping,

Annual Church Picnic at the Blue Ridge ParkwayJoin us Sunday, October 21, beginning at 3:00 pm, at Rocky Knob on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Dinner will be around 5:00 pm, bring a dish
