Family Fun Opportunities

Winter & Spring Family Field TripsExplore the great outdoors at the Lowry Nature Center! Spend the afternoon learning about birds of prey, take guided nature walks, and create nature crafts.

Winter activities include kicksledding on ice, snowshoeing and sledding if we have snow, and indoor activity stations. Spring activities include pond and frog investigations. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Ride the free shuttle bus from Eisenhower Community Center to the Lowry Nature Center in Victoria. Bus service will run from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., with buses leaving every 30 minutes. Buses will return to Eisenhower Community Center from 2:30 to 4:00 p.m. Registration is required.

Non-School Day Fun! Youth Horse Camp Ages 6-18 Andrea KeacherLearn how to groom, tack-up, lead, and work with horses. Winter and Spring Family Field Trips

FREE Events!Visit the Lowry Nature Center for an afternoon of outdoor family fun and exploration with winter and spring activities. Shuttles will transport from Eisenhower Elementary (Door A) and the Lowry Nature Center sites every half hour. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Registration is required.

Family Swim SaturdaysJoin us for a season of fun family swimming at Eisenhower Community Center pool. Lifeguards are on duty during all family swim hours. (This is not a swim lesson.) Swimmers must furnish their own suits and towels. All youth swimmers must be accompanied by an adult 18 years old or older who is dressed to swim. Swimmers may use approved masks/goggles, fins, and snorkels. Please register and pay in the Eisenhower Community Center reception area before heading to the pool.
