Supervised city playgrounds are summer “drop-in sites” where our recreation leaders supervise a wide variety of informal recreational activ-ities, including kickball, whiffle ball, softball, playground games, Uno, checkers, board games and more! A great place to be with friends and
meet new ones! *Playgrounds may close at vari-
ous times due to inclement weather or during city-wide special events. Playgrounds are designed for chil-dren ages 5-12. Children under the age of 6 must be accompanied by an adult.

Around the World in 25 Days Join us on our adventure around the world! Each week this summer we will explore one of four different countries through:
• Fun outdoor Math and Science projects.
• History and Culture including Greek Gods, the Egyptian Pyramids and beginning Spanish and French and constructing and playing games of the different countries.
• Performing Arts including singing, dancing, karaoke, acting and puppets.
• Literary and Visual Art including water coloring, using natural items found in Oak Hill Park creative writing and poems.

The STAR Program will present The Lion King with Kindergarten through 8th grade students this summer.
An intensive program in Performance Arts includes writing, acting and poetry with performances at Washington Street Theater and OHS Auditor ium. Students are expected to attend the program regularly.
OleAN AReA yOUTh COURTNew Member Training Program
Required Training Sessions: Wednesdays from 5-6pm
The Olean Area Youth Court is a highly successful delinquency intervention/prevention program servicing first time offenders between the ages of 7 and 15 years old.
The Youth Court members are high school students from Olean, Allegany-Limestone,
Portville and Hinsdale. Youth who graduate from 8th grade in June 2014 are eligible to apply for the summer program.
Students are required to complete a structured training program and successfully pass a final law exam. They serve as the judge, side judge, facts attorney
and law guardian.

The Senior Center offers a wide variety of programs to choose from including exercise programs, the WII, Bingo and Square Dance lessons. Many educational and informational forums are held as well as many day trips. Olean Junior League
meets every Tuesday at 7pm and schedules many fun activities, trips, miniature golf league & more!
The AARP Driving Course and Tax Clinic are also held at the center.
