Red flags of suspicion Cant seem to keep their story straight. Gives scripted-sounding answers to questions. Has branding or tattoos on their body, especially designs or words that indicate ownership or money. Reluctant to make eye contact. Bruising, especially the outline of a hand or marks from a wire or rope. Appears helpless, nervous or ashamed. Signs of malnourishment.
