and circumstances—just like successful teamwork comes
from a particular blend of people and skills. We drew upon
this similarity when developing this exceptional experience,
which helps strengthen teams from all walks of life.
Get the creativity and competitive juices flowing by
challenging your teams to produce their very own
Bordeaux-style wine. Our expert guide will introduce the
wines that participants will be using, demonstrate how to
mix them properly, and provide tips along the way.
When the fun is done, each team will present its creation
in competition for the coveted title of Best Amateur
Winemakers. It’s team building at its finest—and most
entertaining.

Sharpen your wine tasting skills the way the masters do,
with this intriguing, interactive dining experience.
The evening opens with a guided tasting in our boutique,
where one of our resident experts will take you through
our portfolio in preparation for the challenge ahead.
Be sure to listen carefully to your wine “sensei”—you may
just pick up some important tips and tricks to use later.
Next, we’ll move to our Trius Red Cellar, where the
competition heats up. We’ll test, tantalize and tease
your taste buds by presenting you with a secret range
of Trius wines, all hidden inside black stemware. Cloaked
in darkness, each wine’s distinguishing colour will be
obscured, so you and your guests will need to rely solely
on taste and smell to identify which is which.
Working in teams or on your own, and with some helpful
hints from your guide along the way, you and your guests
will earn your “black belt” in black glass wine tasting.
Whoever guesses the most wines correctly wins—and takes
home a trophy bottle of bubbles from our Sparkling Cellar.

How about swinging by our place for a barbecue?
We’ll treat you to a little laid-back luxury right in our
very own backyard, with this casual yet unforgettable
al fresco dining experience.
Chef Dodd and his team will fire up the grill while you
relax at one of our grand harvest tables, set amidst the
rustic beauty of our vineyards. Sip some of our favourite
patio wines as you enjoy an informal feast.
At the end of the evening, Chef Dodd will share a copy
of his infamous Trius Burger recipe so you can bring a
little of the magic home with you.

THE STUDIO
Overlooking Trius Winery Restaurant, this private space allows
guests to enjoy an intimate experience while still being part of the
restaurant’s buzz and vibe. Up to 24 guests may dine from any of
Chef Dodd’s seasonally inspired Group Menus.
THE VINEYARD PAVILION
Up to 110 guests can dine privately in this gorgeous room with floor-
to-ceiling windows that look out onto our beautiful vineyards and
the extraordinary Niagara Escarpment. In season, we’ll throw open
the windows and let guests bask in the warm winery breezes. Here,
you can enjoy Chef Dodd’s seasonally inspired Tasting Menu, Set
Group Menus or his Backyard BBQ experience.
TRIUS RED BARREL CELLAR
This is the perfect venue for an authentic and awe-inspiring wine
country experience. Awash in golden candlelight, up to 32 guests
will dine together at a grand harvest table in our barrel cellar among
20 years of Trius Red, Niagara’s benchmark wine.
WINEMAKERS LOOKOUT
Treat your group to an exquisite reception on this exclusive,
seasonally available extension of our Restaurant Patio. Up to 24
guests can enjoy breathtaking views of the entire winery, as well
as our spectacular stone fireplace, on the 2nd Tier. Then, they’ll be
escorted below to savour any of Chef Dodd’s Group Menu offerings.

Art Deco meets Hugh Hefner in Trius’ newest lux experience room.
Celebrate our iconic Trius Red while lounging on velvet banquettes
surrounded by sparkling chandelier light and damask wall
treatments. A central tasting bar and digital screen set an elegant
stage for learning more about Trius’ role on the world wine map.
