WRITING: A TASTE OF INDIA:

India is a country where the weather is tropical and there are three seasons. From October to March is cool and dry, the temperature is 24-25 Cº. From April to May the weather is hot, like 28-31Cº and dry too. From June to September the weather change a little bit because it's very wet and it's called the Moonsoon season.The landscape in India is very varied. In the north India there are a mountain ranges called Himalaya. The highest peak is Mount Everest. In south Himalaya is a huge flat area where there's a river called Ganges.In India the religion is very important. Their religion is called Hinduism and it's followed for the most people in the country. People belive in gods and goddesses who represent diferents diferents qualities and powers suprems. One of the celebrations dedicated to gods and godesses is Diwali. Is celebrated at the end of October and people decoret their houses with typicals lights called divas. Here believe that where the rivers meet is sacred. A sacred ritual is bathe in the river Ganges for the preregrims.The food in India is very colorful because they use a lot of spices. They eat differents meals

depending the area which they live and the religion that they have. Also there are a lot of

vegetarians in India, here don't eat beef like musulmans don't eat pork. In India neither use

knives or forks because they eat with the right hand, is a thing about religion and culture.

They use a differents names to call food like daal is a name to call pulses, lenties... ghee is

a type of butter used in cooking, saffron is the most expensive spice in India and it's

considerated a symbol of hospitality. A tumeric yellow spice is used in curries to be lucky

and they use red chillies very hot too.
